Expanded Polypropylene

The material from which more and more future is being shaped is called EPP (expanded polypropylene) and is an unusually versatile, thermoplastic polymer. Due to its favorable properties, this closed-cell, non-crosslinked particle foam has been used in recent years for a wide variety of applications in different industries.

The extremely high resilience especially predestines this material as a raw material for reusable transport packaging, load carriers, and packaging for highly sensitive goods.

EPP-Re is our sustainable reusable variant that contains 30% EPP recycled content in addition to expanded polypropylene (EPP) – without limiting the performance spectrum. This not only reduces resource consumption but also minimizes the CO₂ footprint. This is particularly important today as ecology and circular economy become increasingly significant. EPP-Re is suitable for all applications where, in addition to the excellent physical properties of EPP, ecological aspects are also required. By using EPP-Re, you demonstrate your commitment to a sustainable future while benefiting from the functional advantages of EPP. The high temperature resistance combined with low thermal conductivity allows for optimal solutions in thermal insulation. EPP enjoys an outstanding position due to its almost unlimited design possibilities and favorable price-performance ratio.

When It Needs to Be Extra Gentle – EPE

For exceptionally sensitive surfaces or extremely shock-sensitive products, we use EPE (expanded polyethylene) with its very special cushioning properties. EPE is excellent for extreme device sensitivities as it can be processed at very low bulk densities.
